If your life consisted of only one day, what would you choose to do on that day?

Nature Concerthall’s hero this year is the mayfly (Ephemera vulgata), a water insect whose larvae live only in clean, mainly flowing water. As a result, this year’s Nature Concerthall venues are chosen near rivers. The lifespan of a mayfly ranges from a few hours to 10 days, but most live no longer than one day.

The creative team of the Nature Concerthall, researching this year’s hero, reveals: “One day in a human life is equivalent to a whole life for a mayfly. Through the short life of a mayfly, which in fact is only a brief moment, we would like to draw visitors’ attention to the consequences of temporality, as well as how longevity is dependent on single moments.”

  • I tell you! If all events were like this one, I'd have to fire most of my staff! After more than 5,000 people spent hours in the sand dunes, not a single piece of garbage was left behind! There was almost no disruption to the surroundings!
