ĢIRTS STINKULIS

Ģirts Stinkulis is associated professor at the Department of Geology, Faculty of Geography and Earth Sciences, University of Latvia. He teaches courses on deposits and their sedimentary environments, geology of Latvia, and field course in regional geology. His scientific activities are related to sedimentary environments of the Devonian deposits (sandstone, clay, dolomite) in the present area of Baltic States, origin of sedimentary mineral deposits, and environments of formation of desert palaeosols.
