2011 : Fucus vesiculosus – Andris Andrušaitis





Andris Andrušaitis, PhD, serves as a Programme Manager at the joint Baltic Sea research and development programme BONUS. He was director of Latvian Institute of Aquatic ecology and head of department of Hydrobiology at University of Latvia. Trained as marine biologist, he is now responsible for developing the joint research agenda and scientific implementation of the joint marine and maritime projects by eight EU member states surrounding the Baltic Sea.
Andris advised the science programme at the nature concert hall 2011. He suggested ideas for several of the ‘scientific’ workshops and got actively involved in their design, preparation and practical implementation during the performances.
