Dabas koncertzāle is more than a concert and is almost more than an event even
Every summer, in two previously not so well known or completely unknown corners of Latvia audiences assemble to learn and experience; to listen and explore. Each year it is a different topic, so the places vary and the emotions and knowledge you can acquire do too.
Dabas koncertzāles musicians work closely with Latvian scientists in developing 12 new compositions each year which focus on the target species/topic of that year. Some years, the topic lends calm, meditative music appropriate for your yoga class and others the rough challenges placed on nature creates a more upbeat sound. With over 80 compositions in total – whatever your mood, this music will help you delve deeper.
A big part of our work is helping scientists find easier ways to communicate complicated natural processes to the audiences. Each year we have more than 10 interactive work stations at the events, manned by tens of volunteers. Here you will find a collection of these educational tools and materials so that you can continue your exploration and learning beyond the event.

I tell you! If all events were like this one, I'd have to fire most of my staff! After more than 5,000 people spent hours in the sand dunes - not one piece of garbage left behind! Almost no disruption of the surroundings!
Thank you for creating such an amazing, wondrously beautiful, true and gratifying art! May you have enough creativity for many more years
The Oss year's concert is of special significance to me personally as after the Ogre concert, under the dome of stars - I asked my then-girlfriend to be my wife!
Once I was stopped in a shopping mall by a couple. They complained that under the influence of our event, their son was asking for a microscope - not latest toy - for Christmas.
Thanks to all musicians and people who can create something with such synchronicity of the soul, science, meditation and other emotions!
